Use the following materials for packaging to ensure safe delivery.

  • Tamper-proof Polythene Bags
  • Corrugated boxes
  • Bubble Wrap
  • Plastic Bags

Packaging materials that should not be used

Paper bags, envelopes, brown paper bags, or similar packaging bags, etc., are not safe for packaging.
Staplers (to seal the package) should not be used.
The original packaging that covers the product should not be used for transportation purposes. It is your responsibility to pack all products in a suitable manner for transportation, using a different packaging material for the outer cover.

How to pack fragile products properly to prevent damages

Start by covering fragile items with about 6 inches of bubble wrap

Ensure there is no empty space in the box containing the fragile item. If there is any, fill it with bubble wrap or Styrofoam to prevent movement of the product.

Packing instructions

Bottles containing liquids (perfumes, plastic bottles, and other liquids) should be packed upright with the lid securely sealed.
Cover the bottles with polythene to prevent any leakage.
Pack liquid products in cardboard boxes, cover the box with bubble wrap, and seal it with a polythene cover to ensure safe delivery.
Items like clothes should be packed in a polythene bag as the initial layer and sealed with a thick plastic cover as the final layer (to protect from weather and liquids).
Chipboard boxes containing items like gifts and shoes are more secure when packed with bubble wrap and sealed in a corrugated box.
Always use the correct packaging materials to ensure the safety of your items.

Sealing of Packages

It is important to pack your orders in tamper-proof polythene bags for added security.
Ensure the top and bottom openings of all containers are sealed tightly with tape.
Check the sealed containers for any holes or tears to ensure safety.

Packaging Labeling

Packaging labels and our waybill should be affixed outward in the same direction, ensuring they are clearly visible.
In the waybill, correctly state the recipient's name, full address, two telephone numbers, and the total amount to be collected from the recipient (value of goods + courier fee).

Things to consider when distributing flower plants

The roots of the plant should be securely packed with a plastic or polythene cover.
The top of the plant’s head should be loosely covered with paper.
Cover the whole plant securely with cardboard roll or bubble wrap.
The plant should be packed in a box filled with soft, supportive packing material.
The following types of labels can be used to indicate that the parcel contains live plants.
To preserve the vitality of the plant, pack the plant in a polythene cover with exposed air windows to allow air to enter it.
Avoid delivering aquatic plants or plants with water for delivery.
Do not pack the soil in the planter pack it can spill out.
Picked up parcels will be sent to the relevant Domex branches on the next working day.
It may take between 2/3 days for the parcel to be delivered from the relevant Domex branch to the customer.
